System Administrator

We currently have an opportunity to join our team as a System Administrator in HAFB, Utah. Please read below the responsibilities and requirements for this position. If you meet the requirements and would be able to consistently perform the duties please respond with your resume.
The contractor shall be responsible to provide server support, as well as operational support (hosting services) for servers, clusters, Storage Area Networks (SAN), Hill-2K Domains and Enterprise Backup Systems. The current supported environment includes Windows (2003, 2008, 2012, and Microsoft Server Core) and UNIX (Solaris/Linux) servers, tape libraries, SAN and network attached storage (NAS). In addition to support for file services, server support includes management of application servers, web servers, and database servers. Services are proactively monitored using a variety of tools for collecting information and issuing alerts. Routine maintenance and upgrades that may affect customer availability are normally performed outside of normal business operational hours (specific hours and coordination instructions will be included in each specific TO). Server support also includes disaster recovery planning and implementation services.
Contractor personnel shall be knowledgeable of and proficient in the use of:
Windows, Unix, or Linux servers including:
SharePoint experience required
Remedy experience is a plus
Application Development and Production Environment
DR/COOP site servers (backup, Web)
Virtual servers (VMWare)
Internet
Mission critical Web sites
Familiar with Web server admin such as (Apache, IIS, .NET, Coldfusion)
MS SQL Server 2000 (cluster) (SQL Server 2008 to be deployed)
Storage (SAN, NAS, CAS, backup)
Disaster recovery planning, testing and preparedness
The contractor shall be responsible for Hosting services to include Web, application, and database server services for enterprise mission-critical applications. UNIX and Windows Server platforms are currently supported. Hill AFB System's support both custom-developed applications and customized commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications
The contractor shall be responsible to provide administrative services to include individual and group access to applications, domains and systems through user registration and profile management; server configuration, disk space and directory management; resource management; and establishing and managing directory services.
