Senior Systems Analyst

Robbins Gioia is currently seeking a Senior Systems Analyst. The individual will Collaborate in a team environment to establish best practices in software and database development. Collect user requirements for current and future reports/web pages. Apply experience within a Software Lifecycle: Ability to gather requirements, document requirements, design web applications, develop web reports / architecture, test application, minimal server administration. Database work includes creating tables, views, data transfer, data validation, creating database links, inserting/updating/deleting data and building stored procedures. Understanding and skills to build dynamic web pages via databases is a must.
Senior Technical Consultants are exempt resources who typically work with clients to define needs or problems. They help determine the project scope, define and execute data collection methodologies and plans, and conduct analysis of studies and surveys. Senior Technical Consultants analyze and validate data to determine solutions and advise on alternative methods or recommend solutions. Must have the ability to work with minimal oversight and take initiative to get projects completed. Must have the ability to create tables, queries, views, sequences, write PL SQL for Oracle Database tasks. Database knowledge and skills with SQL, mySQL, SQL Server or Oracle is preferred. Proficiency in ASP.NET development is a must. Presenting data, findings, and training material are other ways that the consultant supports customers.
Required Experience One of the following education/experience combinations: Non-degreed and 10
years of Technical experience
BA/BS and 5
years of Technical experience
2
years with ASP Classic, ASP.NET 2003, and SQL (structured query language)
2
years experience using source control, web development, and database administration software
Experience using Oracle (sequences, PLSQL, db links), Sequel Server, MS Server 2003 (IIS), and XML is highly desired
Current Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required, only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
