Summary:
Our client, the PRIME, is seeking a qualified Senior IT Project Manager in support of client located at Hill AFB, UtahEssential Duties &
Responsibilities:
o Develop project scope, cost estimates, human resource requirements, work plans, time schedules, communication plans, and make work assignments to meet project or program objectives.
o Plan, organize, manage, control and communicate on all phases of a project (technical, workflow, and/or general office management processes)o Assist with planning projects along with stakeholders, the Sustainment Lead Project Manager, Onboarding Lead Project Manager, and subject matter expertso Set project goals and develop a plan to reach those goalso Manage resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employeeso Use project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherenceo Plan, conduct, and facilitate meetings/working sessions to discuss project goals and progress, as well as help ensure timely results of milestones and deliverableso Provide ongoing status reportingo Report on milestones as appropriate, including whether all tasks and deliverables are being metEducation, Certification & Experience Requirements o Bachelor's degree in Business or IT related field or equivalent professional experience.
o Five (5) or more years of experience in a data center environment.
o Experience in a Cloud environment (moving applications from prim to cloud)REQUIRED CERTIFICATION (only one required):
o Project Management Professional - PMP (PMI)o Certified ScrumMaster (Scrum Alliance) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
o Understanding of Agile Project Management methodologies.
o Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems, network administration and service desk administration.
o Project management and leadership skills.
o Able to interpret a variety of technical instructions that deal directly/indirectly with the Information Technology discipline.
