Senior Quality Assurance Specialist with Active Secret or Higher Clearance
Smoothstack is currently recruiting for a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to work onsite at Hill AFB, Utah. This requires an Active Secret clearance to be considered. You will conduct audits and review/analyze data and documentation as well as develop and implement company and regulatory quality standards. You will coordinate a QA training program, provide training within the Quality Assurance team and administer a QA system. You will address and resolve Corrective or Preventive actions and assist in the review and approval of deviation notices and investigations generated by technical departments. You will assist management in overseeing the investigation system for all technical department and participate in auditing specific aspects of the company s ISO quality systems, report all findings to issue corrective action plans, and verify effective corrective action. You will participate in review and approval of department SOPs. and maintain the company s Change Control System. You will be expected to serve as a QA subject matter expert, perform complex work/assignments and contribute to process improvements. This position will have you resolving problems using existing solutions.Qualified candidates have the following education/certifications, experience and clearance to be considered:
Bachelor s degree in Business or IT related field or equivalent professional experience. Five (5) or more years of experience. Active Secret Clearance. Recommended Certifications:
Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred). Certified Software Quality Engineer (CCSQE).Experience in the following:
Strong technical writing skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Experience in delivering training programs, with excellent communication skills. Proficiency with Windows base applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
