Project Technical Manager - Program Protection (P2) with Security Clearance

LinQuest is seeking an exceptional Program Protection (P2) Project Technical Manager for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) known as Sentinel.
The P2 Technical Manager will support the Air Force's ICBM weapon system and Sentinel.
These are long-term sustainment and acquisition programs which are anticipated to remain operational until 2075.
This individual is a P2 Technical Manager providing technical expertise in Program-Protection-related efforts, and will actively contribute in the P2 team in performance of the day-to-day team responsibilities.
They will work with other organizational leadership on priorities, fostering strong relationships, meeting business goals, and so forth.
This individual will also help build teamwork, communicate effectively (verbal & written), develop/enforce policies, and work with stakeholders (internal and external).
This position provides the opportunity to develop and hone communication, customer relationship, and leadership skills while working with a close-knit fun-loving team of other P2 professionals.
This position works with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) supporting ICBM weapon systems, subsystems and supporting systems.
The successful candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, and have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with the desire to make a difference.
Knowledge and experience working with the DoD and/or Air Force policies and processes and is required.
Key
Responsibilities:
Provides project direction/management to ensure successful implementation, execution, and completion of technical and/or financial tasks and milestones associated with project.
Ensures that project objectives are met or exceeded.
Ensures that project-critical resources are available and used efficiently.
Uses professional knowledge and experience to ensure quality deliverables in accordance with contract.
Communicates with staff to ensure understanding of project goals, milestones, deliverables, and individual's functional responsibilities.
Evaluates progression of project milestones and budget and modifies work as applicable to ensure overall project quality, schedule and cost are being attained.
Interfaces, and as appropriate, provides project compliance and progress updates, with senior-level client/contract management.
Provides superior-level project management expertise at highest government and corporate levels.
May be asked to guide less-experienced team members.
Highest level of experience in integrating multiple projects including maximizing use of resources/personnel, scheduling, and costing.
Required Skills and
Experience:
7 years of progressive technical experience; or MS degree
5 years of experience Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong management skills Ability to deliver per an agreed-to schedule Ability to adjust and problem solve when schedules/situations change Knowledge/experience in requirements capture, design, and decomposition Capability to elicit and specify stakeholder needs Effective verbal and written communication skills with high degree of emotional intelligence Able to work independently or in a team setting Experience in integrating multiple projects including maximizing use of resources/personnel, scheduling, and costing.
An active Secret Clearance adjudicated in the last 6 years.
Must also be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance and all required Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
